The challenge consisted in the deconstruction of the stage tower of this famous theatre, without compromising the historical perimeter walls, the foyer and the Piermarini stalls. A variety of different techniques were used in this challenging enterprise, from robots designed by our R&D department to special lifting systems. Our men worked round the clock, removing all the debris and waste produced at night to avoid creating a disturbance in the centre of Milan, under normal daytime traffic conditions and in record time. Deconstruction was completed without any damage to any historic elements.
